Entrepreneurship is made for me because… I have the ability to undertake client development to grow our business and clientele, while still providing quality services that address client needs.
The impact I hope to make through my work is… to mentor others in my position, providing them with access to the resources they need to succeed, including allies in their field, tools for work-life balance, and supporting their mental health.
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned on my entrepreneurial journey is… the importance of having a strong support network to help you achieve your goals, and a vibrant referral network to draw upon for your business.
My proudest accomplishment is… becoming a mother and the first female partner at my firm in the same year.
My biggest setback has been… the cyclical nature of the economy.
I overcame it by… diversifying my practice — offering services to industries experiencing strong growth, while also supporting those experiencing a downturn or stagnation.
I surprise people when I tell them… my age. I try to have a contemporary outlook on life and keep up to date with technology.
If I had an extra hour in the day, I would use it to… spend time with my family. I would also enjoy the things that I have worked hard for, including rest and relaxation.
