RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur awards

Winning the RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Award in the Start-Up category has resulted in so much more recognition and respect than I ever expected. In my business of vacation-rentals, trust is paramount — for both my owners and guests. Owners are worried that their special vacation property will not be taken care of, and guests are concerned that the cottage that they paid for will not be what they were expecting. Receiving this award from WOI and RBC gives my customers the stamp of approval that Jayne's Cottages will deliver in a top-notch manner.

It was an incredible honour being the winner of the Social Change award. Being recognized by a room full of extraordinary women and business leaders was a truly special moment for me and my organization. Since the award, the SAAAC Autism Centre has been able to create partnerships with a number of influential donors and businesses to help develop and sustain autism focused programming. I want to thank RBC and WOI for the platform they provide to women entrepreneurs.

It's an entrepreneur's dream to be recognized by RBC. So it was such an honor to be amongst so many female changemakers at the gala ceremony — which was so moving and incredibly well-produced. The night after winning the Trailblazer award, it was amazing how quickly I began getting media attention. The RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards shines a bright spotlight on inspirational stories of entrepreneurship, women who demonstrate ingenuity and resilience. I am inspired by them. And I will always be grateful for this honour

Winning the award in the Ones to Watch category has been incredibly humbling and at the same time has fueled my hunger for more! I want to change the way the world sees people with disabilities and neuro-rehabilitation, and winning this award solidifies another step in my journey. Thank you for encouraging women to do better and be better and for recognizing those who are living their truths and following their passions.

Being named the winner of the Micro-Business Award has been an incredible visibility boost for The Roundtable. Within a week of the announcement, the profile and support we’ve received has already opened up exciting new doors. I really can’t thank RBC and WOI enough for their support of women entrepreneurs. They are true catalysts for growth.

As a female leader in a male-dominated industry, being named recipient of the 2019 RBC Momentum award, is a moment in my career I will never forget. The recognition supports my ongoing journey with Western Wealth Capital ‘doing things differently’ in a longstanding industry. The award creates a platform that allows us to share our success story with the nation and for me to reach other women who may be inspired to take that first step into entrepreneurship.
